The shopping experience at watsons...
Took a little break from fretting about school by going to town today... met meng n zhen hui at 3 and then toot joined us for dinner.
Had a little 'trumatising' experience while at taka watsons... i wanted to buy a tube of the Watsons brand foot lotion as sherlyn said that it's quite effective... n it's also relatively cheaper... after grabbing the tube and intending to browse ard for awhile before making payment... i was suddenly interrupted by a sales promoter... And this is how it goes after translation...
Promotor (P): "Hey, why dun u use this body scrub, it's very effective and has got better ingredients than the one you're holding... why don't you take a look at it yourself "blah blah blah...
I wasn't very keen on listening... she just took a tube, squeezed abit out for me to smell, and thrusted it into my hand...
Me:"It's ok."
Tries to put the body scrub back. The promoter never gave up, die die also want me to buy... i think she mistaken my foot lotion for foot scrub... goes on to say that the product is v good... it's on the advertisements, can use for body n foot as well... I was quite desperate to siam from her alr...
Me:Actually i'm buying foot lotion, not foot scrub...
P:Oh, we also have our brand of foot lotion.
Proceeds to show me another food lotion brochue.
Me:I used this product before and i dun think it's effective.
This is partly true... i used the product before, though not regulary enough. But i am really not interested.
P:When was it that u use it, did u wear those kind of home slippers blah blah blah... u nv do this nv do that of cos it's not effective. I go and take the thing for you to see..
It's ok if you're an enthusiatic promoter... i noe that you have to make a living for yourself too... I just find the promoter kind of aggressive and i dun like to be 'forced' into buying things. N so i quickly walked off when the promoter when to take the product... it's bad but i've alr told her that i'm not interested to look at the product... if she insists, i can't help it too... i am so afraid of seeing her that i decided to go to another watsons to buy my lotion... Had to ask zhen hui to help me put the lotion back to the original place.
Got the few items i wanted to buy today... new highlighters... new earphones to replace the the lousy quality one i bought sometime back n the foot lotion, bought at wisma atria's watson...
